⚠This calculator estimates the cost of importing into KOREA only — every rate and the currency (KRW) are Korean. It does not apply to the United States, where duty, the Section 232 25-year exemption, the HS-7 and EPA 3520-1 filings and state registration all work differently; see 'Importing a Used Car from Japan to the U.S.' There is no Korea–Japan agreement rate for cars, so duty is calculated at the standard 8%; a certificate of origin does not lower it.
